Welcome to the BRAND NEW Web Site of the Southwest District Kiwanis Foundation.  If you were looking for Kamp Kiwanis, you're in the right place.  The Southwest District Kiwanis Foundation is a not-for-profit, charitable organization and operates under the 501(c)(3) provisions of the Internal Revenue Service.

The Foundation owns and operates Kamp Kiwanis, located 18 miles south of Gallup, NM on State Highway 602 at Cousins Road.  Kamp Kiwanis is located in the Zuni Mountains at an elevation of about 7,200 feet.  This 160 acre facility is dedicated to the service of KIDS.  Over the course of a year, literally thousands of young people, from throughout the Southwest District, participate in camps and other youth enrichment programs.  You’ll find a substantial portion of this web site dedicated to the Kamp and its activities.

The Foundation also provides "umbrella" coverage to about three-fourths of the Kiwanis Clubs in the Southwest District for their 501(c)(3) charitable purposes through the Internal Revenue Service.  Some Kiwanis Clubs have their own Foundations that were granted 501(c)(3) status by the IRS.  Most Kiwanis Clubs in the Southwest District do not.  They fall under the blanket coverage of the Southwest District Kiwanis Foundation so long as they follow the IRS rules and file their tax returns as required each year.
